DDDI Group Pty Ltd ("DDDI", "we", "us" or "our") is an Adelaide company that builds and equips construction businesses. The named companies — Cyberate Technologies, Cyberate Investments, Cyberate Project Management and Cyberidge Construction — were built with the DDDI method. They are independently owned and operated, and DDDI holds no equity in them. They are referred to on this website as client case studies. We build the systems those businesses run on. Our methods and systems are forged across data, capital, management and delivery — proven on real projects first, then opened to the industry as technology and support.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information when you use this website, including when you submit an enquiry, request a trade quote, apply to become a trade partner, subscribe to updates, or otherwise interact with us.

We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), where they apply. This policy covers the website. The DDDI One mobile app is covered by its own DDDI One Privacy Policy.

2. What personal information we collect

2.1 Information you provide directly

  • Enquiries and contact forms — your name, email address, phone number, company, the nature of your enquiry and any message you submit.
  • Trade quote requests — your name, contact details, project location and details, and any drawings or documents you upload so we can obtain and compare quotes.
  • Trade partner applications — your name, business name, contact details, ABN, licence and insurance details, and the trades or services you offer.
  • Subscription / notification requests — your email address, where you ask to be notified about research or updates.
  • Careers or partnership approaches — any information you include in an application or message.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Usage and analytics data — pages visited, time on page, referring source, approximate location and device/browser information, collected via website analytics.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — used to analyse traffic, remember preferences and improve the experience (see section 5).
  • Bot and fraud protection — hCaptcha processes interaction data when a form is submitted, to distinguish humans from automated traffic.

2.3 Information we do not collect

The website does not collect sensitive information (as defined in the Privacy Act) such as health, biometric or government-identifier information, unless you choose to include it in a message. Please do not submit sensitive information unless it is necessary and you consent.

3. How we use personal information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries and follow up with you;
  • prepare, compare and deliver trade quotes;
  • assess and process trade partner applications;
  • provide the information, services or systems you request;
  • send you updates you have asked for, and manage unsubscribes;
  • improve the website, our services and our content;
  • protect our systems and prevent fraud or misuse; and
  • comply with our legal and record-keeping obligations.

4. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for traffic analysis and to improve the user experience. Cookies do not usually identify you directly. We use website analytics to understand how the site is used; the provider may process this data on servers outside Australia. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, although some website features may not work as intended.

  • the companies we work with, to the extent needed to respond to or service your request;

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures — including transport encryption (HTTPS), access controls and staff awareness — to protect personal information from unauthorised access, misuse, loss, alteration or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Cross-border data transfers

Some of our technology providers may store or process information outside Australia, including through our offices in Hong Kong, Los Angeles and Auckland. Where personal information is disclosed overseas, we take reasonable steps required by applicable Australian privacy law.

8. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, for legitimate business and operational needs, and to meet legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

9. Your rights

You may ask us to:

  • provide access to the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date information;
  • delete personal information, subject to legal or business-record requirements; and
  • stop receiving marketing or notification emails (you can also use the unsubscribe link in any email we send).

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in section 12. We may need to verify your identity before acting. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

10. Children’s privacy

The website is directed at businesses and professionals in the built environment, not at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without an appropriate lawful basis.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will be published at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review it periodically.
